{blackbabes} Beyoncé's Topshop Collection Finally Gets a Release Date—Scoop!

Beyonce Knowles
Beyonce Knowles

Say it all together now: Finally!

Beyoncé and Topshop have been keeping shoppers on their toes for more than a year now since announcing a dream-come-true athliesure line last October. Said line was supposedly set to hit stores in the fall of 2015, but clearly that date has come and gone and still no Top-Bey collection. Both the pop star and the mega retailer have remained mum about the street style-perfect line since—no teasers, no Instagram sneak peeks; nada. But at long last, we've finally got some good news to share.

Mark your calendars for April 2016, 'cause that's when Queen Bey's line is now slated to hit the shelves in Topshop locations across 25 countries, The Telegraph was first to report. And if this celebrity retail endeavor proves to be anything like Olivier Rousteing's Balmain for H&M collaboration, then shoppers may need to start strategizing their store front stakeouts now.

But remember, this is no mere collaboration, Sir Philip Green assured the masses back in October 2014 (he's the chairman of the Arcadia Group which controls Topshop, FYI). No, the Parkwood Topshop Athletic Ltd. line (as it's so been dubbed) will be a "50-50 joint venture company."

"We have been looking at this category as fashion inspired fitness develops, and know that this is right in our customers' heartland," Sir Phillip added in the initial statement about the line. "Creating a partnership with Beyoncé, one of the most hard-working and talented people in the world, who spends many hours of her life dancing, rehearsing and training is a unique opportunity to develop this category."

As for what to expect from the soon-to-be-released brand, neither Beyoncé nor Topshop have offered any hints. But if we had to guess, we might look back to a few of Bey's many, many mommy style getups from the British label.

{blackbabes} Lupita Nyong’o Dishes About That Time Ralph Fiennes Told Her He Just Needed His Space

Who would ever tell Lupita Nyong'o that she's being a bother?!

Before she was the stylish Academy Award-winning actress we know her as today, the glamorous star was an eager student doing all that she could to break through in the movie industry.

The Star Wars: The Force Awakens actress tells Rhapsody magazine about her time as a production assistant on the set of The Constant Gardener back in 2005, where she was responsible for escorting Ralph Fiennes to set every day. As someone serious about the craft would do, Nyong'o took the job as an opportunity to pick the Oscar-nominated actor's brain and learn all that she could about his experience in the industry.

"I was on a mission to talk to Ralph, but he was talking to some man," she tells the magazine. "I went up to them, and suddenly the assistant director was white in the face with rage. He said, 'You never interrupt the director!' I didn't even know who the director was!"

Lupita Nyong'o
Lupita Nyong'o

Lupita dishes on how she observed Fiennes' preparation for the role and noticed he is a "very still man on set."

"I'd try to make chitchat, asking, 'What's your favorite film? Of all the films you've been in, which have you enjoyed the most?' He was so polite, and he responded to me. At one point, though, he just said, 'Lupita, give me my space.'"

The eager kid who started off making coffee runs and escorting actors to set would go on to graduate from Yale School of Drama and win the Best Supporting Actress Oscar for her role in 12 Years a Slave—her feature film debut!

So now Ralph Fiennes may be the one who has to take a number if he wants to chat with her.

{blackbabes} Metro Detroit is home for ‘Y&R’ actress

http://www.gannett-cdn.com/-mm-/ff50bb0fbcdb2a26950627be23d39df2a7acb179/c=0-0-501-377&r=x404&c=534x401/local/-/media/2015/11/28/DetroitNews/B99327369Z.1_20151128104739_000_GPPMFRHR.1-0.jpg

Twenty-five years after Madonna graduated from Rochester Adams High, Nadine Heimann received her diploma from the same suburban Detroit school and headed for bigger things in a bigger city.

At 18, Heimann moved to New York City, where she studied art and audio engineering and played bass and sang in an indie rock band. Modeling paid the bills.

Today, Heimann has a recurring role on the No. 1 daytime drama, CBS' "The Young & the Restless," where her name is credited simply as Nadine Nicole. The actress, whose Eurasian looks easily transition from athletic to sultry, portrays a young woman in a relationship with a man whose family dynamic is, you might say, a soap opera.

Heimann spoke with The Detroit News by phone from her home in Los Angeles:

Q: Had moving to New York been on your radar for a long time?

A: It was an intuitive decision. I wanted to go to see what opportunities I could create for myself.

How did you make the progression from studies at Fordham University and SAE Institute to modeling?

My mom started me in commercial print (modeling) when I was very young (doing) Kmart, Sears and Kohl's paper-insert ads. I started learning how to move in front of a camera when I was 6. Also, I did martial arts for 12 years. That helped build my confidence. By the time I moved to New York, I'd been in front of the camera for a long time. Luckily, my (German-Filipino) parents blessed me with the ethnically ambiguous look, which was really popular.

Regarding ethnicity, "The Young & the Restless" storyline has featured several interracial romantic relationships — including yours with an African-American man. How do you feel about the role soap operas play in contemporary culture?

It's a beautiful thing that daytime TV (portrays) new perspectives to middle America about relationships. Times are changing. We're allowing people to love who they fall in love with and be who they are. It's a great role model for that.

People deride soaps as lowbrow. But in developing nations, for example, they're used to convey critical social issues through character development.

It comes down to a very primal need for people to empathize with the human condition, empathize with love and with hurt and with loss. (Daytime drama takes) the human experience and magnifies it so people can relate.

I once heard Alice Cooper say bands benefit from playing in bars every night, that the repetition hones skills. The demands of daily drama must be similar.

This is my first time with a large, recurring role, where I've been on for months at a time, working four days a week. Practice makes perfect. You're so enveloped in the character. It's really fun and juicy.

How does the schedule work?

Sometimes, we shoot one, two, maybe three episodes a day. We shoot Tuesday through Friday.

Given that drill, is there not time to memorize lines? Do you use Teleprompters? Can you reshoot if there's an error?

There are no teleprompters. People get the script a few days or up to a week beforehand. When you're on set, it runs really fast. You usually have one take. Sometimes if you mess up, you can get two. It's the most fast-paced shooting you'll find, which really keeps you on your toes; you learn to be in the moment.

I'm surprised more big-name stars don't emerge from that regimen. Do you see it as a steppingstone?

Yes. It makes me more confident in my abilities. When I audition (for other roles), I'm ready and warmed up. Being on "Y&R," watching everyone do it every day, memorize lines every night, change lines on set — it teaches you.

Many daytime actors have friendships, romance and marriage with fellow cast members. You're a relative newcomer. Any close relationships yet?

I have become dear friends with Christel Khalil (Lily). And I've become really close with Mishael Morgan (Hilary), Bryton James (Devon) and Kristoff St. John (Neil). I work with them the most. No romances or marriages (laughter).

Where do you see your career going?

Right now, it's mostly TV. I've always wanted to do film.

The 2014 short film "Lonely Planet," in which you starred, received good notices.

I produced and shot the short love story in Barcelona. It's been received into over 20 acclaimed international film festivals. It just won here in LA for best 'dramedy' short.

You founded the nonprofit organization True Connection. What's its mission?

We work with schools throughout L.A. and Compton, doing creative arts, meditation and mindfulness education. We teach children about self-love, gratitude, forgiveness, purpose, trust. We're promoting it with a fundraising video with some of the "Y&R" actors in it on Giving Tuesday. We're also partnering with the Saginaw Art Museum this summer. The kids will create a communal art project that will go up in the museum.

{blackbabes} Nick Cannon and Mariah Carey's Twins Can't Stop Their "Turkey Day Swag" During Festive Family Celebrations

Why are we so obsessed with this festive family?

This year's Thanksgiving turned out to be another peaceful and united one for exes Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon who came together to celebrate with their twins.

In a series of photographs posted onto Instagram, both Monroe and Moroccan looked their absolute best when hanging out with mom and dad.

"Happy Thanksgiving," Carey wrote on Instagram as the family-of-four posed in anything but casual attire. "#Thanksgiving moments #GiveThanks."

Cannon later added, "Turkey Day Swag! #Festive #FamilyFirst." The America's Got Talent host also invited his mom to the evening celebration that featured Carey in a glamorous black dress and diamonds.

From the looks of things, the fun continued into Friday when the Cannons had a "fun family outing" at an undisclosed location.

Dressed for the cold, fall temperatures, Moroccan chose a Batman beanie to stay warm. In comparison, Monroe opted for pink boots and a furry vest. Is someone already following in mom's fashionable footsteps?

"#MeanSelfies She don't play!!" Cannon wrote on Instagram during the car ride. "Couldn't leave this dude out!!! #RocStar."

Perhaps the unity on Thanksgiving doesn't come as a surprise to fans at all. After all, Carey and Cannon have been able to celebrate Easter, birthdays and Halloween together in the past few months.

"Nick is doing well in his personal life and he just wants Mariah to be happy," a source shared with E! News this past summer. "He feels as long as his kids are in good hands, he will support any decision Mariah makes."

The insider continued, "Mariah will always be in Nick's life that will never change. It makes Nick happy that Mariah is in a great place in her life between work and love."

{blackbabes} Mariah Carey Remains 'Eternally Oblivious' to Aging

Mariah Carey looks amazing for 45. One of her secrets? The singer tells PEOPLE she simply doesn't acknowledge her age.

Mariah Carey

"I think I have to remain eternally oblivious to age," she shares. "Honestly, when you put a number on it yourself, it's just like, Why? Why do that?"

Carey, who has her first makeup collaboration in the works with M.A.C Cosmetics, a champagne lipstick called "All I Want" (available December 3rd), says that a "good hair and makeup team" keeps her feeling beautiful.

And though she's never not looking totally glam, Carey adds that she prefers to wear as little makeup as she can.

"If you're not wearing a lot of makeup, you don't have to take a lot of it off. So, my goal is to wear the least amount of makeup possible so I don't have to steam my face and take it all off."

The beauty school alum shares that she likes to take care of her own skincare and grooms her eyebrows herself — but her DIY skills stop there. When asked whether or not she ever has bad hair days, Carey reveals that she's not as talented in the hair department.

"I do [have bad hair days], and then I have to apply my 500 hours of beauty school," she says. "If it's really bad, I'll just slick it back and put it in a bun."

And when it comes to blowouts, "It used to be really hard. When I was growing up I used to go into the girl's bathroom and fix the front with a brush on a hand dryer because it would come up. And the back was never smooth cause I couldn't really reach it. So, I try not to blow dry my own hair. If I have to do my hair from scratch, I'll keep it natural."

{blackbabes} Mariah Carey Feels 'Lucky' to be Dating Billionaire Boyfriend James Packer, Reveals How They First Met

Mariah Carey Reveals How She First Met Billionaire Boyfriend James Packer

Mariah Carey is gushing about her romance with billionaire boyfriend James Packer.

The pop diva detailed her first meeting with the Australian businessman during an appearance on
The Steve Harvey Show Wednesday.

"We first met in Aspen," Carey, 45, told host
Steve Harvey. "A couple years ago we were at the Hercules premiere. We were talking and laughing and people were getting mad at us and stuff like that. So we hit it off."

The comedian quipped, "Ain't he lucky," before Mimi responded with a beaming smile.

"I'm lucky too," she said blushing. "He really is [great]."

In September, Carey and Packer, 48, made their
red carpet debut since dating for a few months starting in June.

And it appears Christmas came a little early for the mother of two. Harvey couldn't help but notice the
Van Cleefs & Arpels diamond sparkler around her neck, which was a gift from Packer.

"Oh, this old thing?" she mused. "[It was] a very, very big surprise, very nice."

Ex-husband
Nick Cannon filed for divorce from Carey in 2014, while Packer split from wife Erica Baxter – who's now dating singer Seal – in 2013.

{blackbabes} Mariah Carey Bathes in a Swimsuit 'Knowing That I'm Going to Have to Let My Children In'

Mariah Carey is a lot like the rest of us. How is that possible you may ask? Well, after a long day, the one thing she likes to do is take a bath. But the superstar's quiet time usually doesn't go uninterrupted.

Mariah Carey and Children

While promoting her new collaboration with M.A.C. Cosmetics, a shimmery champagne lipstick called "All I Want" (available December 3), the 45-year-old star tells PEOPLE that she rarely takes a bath "where no one's banging on the door going, 'Mommy!'"

Her 4-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan, like to jump in with her.

"I love them so much, but when I'm home, they just want to be with me. I'll often take a bath in a bathing suit knowing that I'm going to have to let them in. It's that one thing that used to be my private time, and now it's not, but that's OK. When I was pregnant, all I did was sit in the tub, I was so uncomfortable. Having twins is not easy."

Carey is already setting aside things in her closet (and in "storage" because "there's a lot") for her children to have when they grow up.

"My daughter loves my shoes," Carey shares. "And she loves my, I have a lot of Agent Provocateur slippers with the pouffy thing on the front so she goes into my lingerie closet and she pulls them out and walks in them all the time. She walks perfectly in them even though they're huge on her. So, I guess I'll save a few of those for her."

{blackbabes} Serena Williams’ Dog Jackie Dies at 16

Serena Williams is heartbroken.

The tennis star's beloved dog Jackie died suddenly on Tuesday — and she took to Instagram to memorialize her.

"My special friend in which I got at 17 (2 weeks before I won my very first Grand Slam) left me today," she wrote in a post which included a collage of photos with the pup. "She was 16 years young and up until a few days ago was still sprinting. Her poor body gave out this morning and she had a way of telling me it was time for me to be brave and let her go."

The athlete wrote that her father, Richard, was by her side during the "loving goodbye," and that the aftermath of that has been extremely painful. "I got out of the shower this afternoon and she was not there to lick my leg as she always did everyday to remind me how much she loved me," she said.

The memory of the adorable Jack Russell terrier – who accompanied the star everywhere – will live on, she promised. "I feel so lucky to have such a special friend," Williams wrote. "Give your dog, cat, pet a big hug. #breakingheart #bff Jackie Baila Pete Williams I will miss you and your memory will live forever."

{blackbabes} No time for wardrobe changes as Badu does Soul Train, music

NEW YORK (AP) — Erykah Badu is answering a phone call: her new eyeglasses are ready, and the frames are available for pick-up when she has time.

"I figured you'd probably been busy," the guy from the optical shop says.

He's right. Badu hosted the 2015 Soul Train Music Awards earlier this month in Las Vegas, and she's been doing press ahead of the show's Sunday premiere on BET and Centric.

"I've had this on for about two months," Badu says of the outfit she's wearing — shiny black overalls, sky-high top hat and a chambray button-up with a wooden bowtie that reads "HELLO"). "It was the last thing I had on at Soul Train. (and) I haven't had a break since then."

She's also been sharing material from her upcoming mixtape, "BUT YOU CAINT USE MY PHONE," titled after a famous line from her equally famous 1997 single, "Tyrone." It's set for release Friday.

In an interview with The Associated Press backstage at "The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon," 44-year-old Badu talks about the hosting gig, new music and platinum-selling rapper Drake, whose "Hotline Bling" single she remixed and released in October.

___

AP: You hosted the Soul Train Music Awards in 1998. How was your experience this year?

Badu: It was really fun. And this time around they made me an associate producer, so I had an opportunity to write my material, which I think is really cool — to, you know, see my things crystalize — my words and my sense of humor, which is pretty unique and self-serving.

AP: What made you say yes to the job?

Badu: I thought that, 'Hey, this is a great opportunity to expose myself to this naked place. this place that I had not been welcomed before.' I'm known for the singing, and stuff like that. No one knows that I direct all my videos and write all of the treatments. No one knows that I do all of my own artwork. No one knows that, you know, this is me. I pick my clothes out. No one knows any of those things. So I think that it's a good time to start exposing my art to the air.

AP: What's up with the mixtape?

Badu: It's really, really, really, really awesome. I first did a remake of Drake's 'Hotline Bling' because I thought it was an awesome song. I actually did it for Big Mike's birthday. Big Mike's my road manager, tour manager. That's his favorite song. as well as a lot of other people's, too. And it came out good. And I just stayed in that studio, in the bedroom, and I just kept writing songs, making songs, writing songs. And about 10 days later, I had this mixtape.

AP: Are there any special guests?

Badu: Absolutely.

AP: Can you tell us who?

Badu: I really cannot tell you. All 12 apostles. Matthew, Mark, Luke, John.

AP: Everyone seems to love Drake — you included. Why do you think that is?

Badu: He's a brilliant genius. He's a genius. He's a talented actor. He's a brilliant comedian — comedic timing is perfection. He's a talented songwriter. He's a talented singer. He's an exquisite, extraordinary producer. He's a great person. ...He invited me to Canada to listen to (2011 album) 'Take Care,' and you know, I went there and listened to the album. You know, (I'm) just really proud to see his evolution. He's one of the few artists I can say is really evolving each time he appears. And that's inspiring to me. And that's my challenge.

AP: You do a lot of things — make music, write comedy, help deliver babies as a doula. How do you stay so 'unstuck'?

Badu: I don't know. I just, I guess I don't judge. You know, that helps you not be stuck. You know, people say hip-hop is dead, and they say soul music is dead and those kind of things, but it won't die if you allow it to evolve. If you allow its essence to grow inside of the young people— because they carry it. As they grow, I grow with them.

{blackbabes} Holly Holm’s awkward moment with Beyoncé

Newly crowned UFC champ Holly Holm — who recently crushed Ronda Rousey in Australia — had an awkward moment in Las Vegas with Beyoncé on Saturday night.

Spies tell us the pair were among just a few select guests in a D'Ussé VIP lounge at the Mandalay Bay during the Miguel Cotto and Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez fight.

When Jay Z — whose Roc Nation Sports reps Cotto — congratulated Holm on her underdog win over Rousey, she introduced her husband, Jeff Kirkpatrick. "Jay was like, 'This is my wife,'" turning to Beyoncé, a spy said.

When Beyoncé told Holm, "I'm B," "Holly turned around and was like, 'What's your name?' " After Holm's husband explained it was Beyoncé, Holm apologized and said, "I want to put my foot in my mouth right now. Of course, I know who you are."

After the fight, spies tell us Jay Z went into the locker room and told the beaten Cotto that he had a great fight. Jay Z lost a $100,000 charity wager on the bout to Álvarez's backer, Oscar De La Hoya.

We hear that back in New York, Rihanna, Travis Scott, Swizz Beatz and Victor Cruz watched the match at Jay Z's 40/40 Club.

{blackbabes} Nicki Minaj in ‘total b—h mode’ at AMAs

Nicki Minaj was one of the night's biggest winners at the American Music Awards on Sunday, but it didn't keep the rap diva from being in a major funk.

She snagged trophies for favorite hip-hop album and hip-hop artist, but "she was in total bitch mode," said a source, who witnessed the diva snub a fan.

All eyes were on Minaj as host Jennifer Lopez opened with a huge dance medley that paid homage to Minaj's hit "Anaconda." Minaj's lack of enthusiasm was apparent when cameras panned to her, fans felt.

"Damn JLo . . . Nicki Minaj facial expression says it all," tweeted one.

Minaj denied the snub with an "lol." But a witness said that while fellow pop stars, such as Ariana Grande, Meghan Trainor and Demi Lovato, mingled during commercial breaks, Minaj stayed in her seat "looking miserable and rolling her eyes."

According to a spy, when one male fan "approached her to sign a CD," she snapped, "'Why? So you can sell it on eBay?' She refused. She was downright antisocial and rude."

Her rep didn't comment, but Minaj seemed much more cheerful in Instagram pics posing with fiancé Meek Mill in their seats.

Either way, Lopez was later seen sipping Moët & Chandon Champagne at her after-party at Hyde Sunset where she hung with her younger boyfriend Casper Smart, Prince, Paula Abdul, DJ Cassidy, Leah Remini, and Joe and Nick Jonas. She even laughed it up with her ex, Sean "Diddy" Combs.

{blackbabes} Rihanna announces global tour amid album buildup

New York (AFP) - Rihanna announced Monday a global tour next year as the R&B superstar undertakes extensive commercial tieups in the run-up to her long-awaited next album.

Rihanna will open her tour on February 26 in San Diego, performing a total of 70 shows around North America and Europe before ending on August 12 in Zurich, promoter Live Nation said.

The Barbados-born singer has sold 54 million albums since her 2005 debut but has not released a full-length work since 2012.

Rihanna has said that the new album and tour will be called "Anti," although she has not confirmed a release date.

In a promotional deal, Rihanna has formed a partnership with South Korean electronics giant Samsung, which has launched an interactive website for "Anti" accessible only on its smartphones.

Samsung took out a large number of advertisements for "Anti" during the television broadcast of Sunday's American Music Awards, hinting that a release is imminent.

For Samsung, the sponsorship of Rihanna would mirror arch-rival Apple's frequent efforts to team up with artists including U2 and Drake.

Rihanna will also make tickets available early for subscribers of Tidal, the streaming service led by rap mogul Jay Z that has emphasized exclusive content from artists as it challenges rivals such as Spotify and Apple Music.

Samsung has not announced details, but the New York Post earlier reported that it had inked a $25 million deal with Rihanna.

Jay Z and Beyonce had one of the best seats in the house Friday night for Britney Spears' Vegas show.

The two were spotted at Planet Hollywood for the concert, and both tried to keep an extremely low profile. You can see from the video below, Bey kept her head tucked on the way out and Jay Z covered up with a hood.

Britney recently signed a brand new $35 million deal with PH ... so maybe Beyonce's just taking notes for a show of her own.

{blackbabes} Grammy Award-Winning Singer Alicia Keys Launches New Campaign Calling for 'Meaningful' Criminal Justice Reform

Grammy award-winning singer Alicia Keys Friday announced her social justice movement We Are Here is partnering with prison reform group #cut50 in a new online video campaign urging people to sign their petition calling on Congress and the White House to pass "meaningful" criminal justice reforms before the end of the year.  http://weareheremovement.com/2015/11/cut50/

"Too many families – and our communities – are being destroyed by mass incarceration," Keys said in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE. "We need policy reforms that can keep people out of prison who don't need to be there, and ensure that our justice system helps to heal communities, families and individuals."

The campaign is calling for alternatives to incarceration, including drug treatment and rehabilitation programs, as well as programs to help prisoners upon release.

"Mothers across America have been crying out for change," says Van Jones, a former Obama administration advisor and founder of #cut50, in an exclusive statement to PEOPLE.

"They could have no better spokeswoman than Alicia Keys, who knows how to make change," says Jones, whose group wants to cut the prison population in half over 10 years.

"[W]hen Alicia gets involved in an issue, she moves the needle in a major way."

The campaign will be featured in
Shining a Light: A Concert for Race in America, a two-hour special airing Friday at 8 .m. on A & E.

Blige's costume is just the latest wickedly awesome look from the show to be revealed leading up to the December telecast.

"We're creating a fantasy land that also is inspired by some of the imagery you'd see today," Tony-nominated costume designer Paul Tazewell told PEOPLE in October. "It's the edgiest of high-fashion from now but in the world of the Emerald City."

Blige will be joined for the live musical event by a star-studded cast including Queen Latifah as The Wiz, Common as Bouncer, the Emerald City gatekeeper, Uzo Aduba as Glinda, Ne-Yo as Tinman, David Alan Grier as Lion, Elijah Kelley as Scarecrow, newcomer Shanice Williams as Dorothy and Broadway's original Dorothy, Stephanie Mills as Aunt Em.

{blackbabes} Kerry Washington Loves Scandal Costume Designer Lyn Paolo So Much She Has Her Dress Her Daughter

Scandal costume designer Lyn Paolo was just honored with the Variety & WWD "StyleMakers" award Thursday night and no one was more excited than the Scandal star, Kerry Washington. In her speech honoring the designer she called her "extraordinarily gracious" and "humble" and a "composed human being." And she was just getting started.

Kerry Washington

Washington praised Paolo's work of being able to first conceptualize the character Olivia Pope through clothes and accessories, saying "She made me figure out who this character is… Lyn and I agreed that this was going to be a woman that was not afraid to run in heels and that was it. We knew that we wanted to redefine the power suit."

Actually, so much thought went into the show's wardrobe that by the sixth episode of season one, there was 19 costume changes and the duo was already spent. "I had never worked this hard in my life and Lyn was equally as exhausted, and we walked into a room and we cried together for about 10 minutes and at that point I knew that I would be friends with her forever because she takes clothes seriously," she shared. "This is a woman who is willing to cry until we get it right, and we have been crying and laughing ever since."

On top of being her source for inspiration as an actor, it also extends to her skills as a mom, specifically in the baby-dressing department.
"I love her so much and I've learned so much from her," the actress said. "I trust her with my life, I trust her to dress my child, which she does, she's taught me to be a better mom, she's taught me to be a better actor, she's taught me to be a better leader, a better human being and a better dresser."

She's also learned to separate style choices for the screen versus the red carpet. "The fashion that I do on the carpet is different than the fashion I do on the show. I've had a journey in learning to understand both, but one is about marketing and PR and one is about telling a story."

And the duo take that very seriously. "We made this commitment that this show wouldn't be fashion for fashion sake," Washington explained. "We wanted Olivia to have a closet space, so in every episode, we wear at least one item that Olivia has worn before." And Paolo added, "These are real people and our show… is about literally telling a story and we want the audience in the Scandal world that these are real people and that they go to the closet all the time, so, for me, it was important that it's not just a fashion show."

What do you love most about Olivia Pope's style?

{blackbabes} Tyra Banks ditches the ‘FABLife’ for makeup

Tyra Banks

Well, that certainly didn't take long. Tyra Banks has announced she's leaving her new talk show "FABLife" after only two months.

The reason for her exit? The "America's Next Top Model" creator and star wants to focus on her line of cosmetics, TYRA Beauty. In a statement to the Hollywood Reporter, Banks says, "I will be devoting more time to my new, growing cosmetics company, TYRA Beauty, which is expanding faster than anticipated, as well as overseeing my company's other entertainment ventures. I will however continue to support the growth and success of 'FABLife' and greatly admire my fellow co-hosts and the talented production team behind the show."

She calls the decision to leave "difficult, but necessary."

The show will continue on without her, though. Remaining co-hosts Chrissy Teigen, Joe Zee, Lauren Makk and Leah Ashley plan to remain with the series.

"FABLife" was Banks' first foray into talk shows after "The Tyra Banks Show" ended in 2010. Now with "America's Next Top Model" wrapping up its final season in December, it'll be the first time in over a decade that Banks hasn't had a regular presence on TV.
