
Netflix has added 10 to the cast of its Nia Long-Larenz Tate romance, newly titled Don't Ever Wonder. The newcomers are Blair Underwood (Longlegs), Laz Alonso (The Boys), Susan Kelechi Watson (This Is Us), Pauletta Washington (Reasonable Doubt), Dennis Haysbert (Flamin' Hot), Chante Adams (A Journal for Jordan), Algee Smith (Euphoria), Grasie Mercedes (Grand Crew), Navia Robinson (Raven's Home) and Yolonda Ross (The Chi).
Inspired by the album Maxwell's Urban Hang Suite, the film's logline is being kept under wraps.
Eugene Ashe (Sylvie's Love) is directing from a script he wrote with Kay Oyegun. Producers include James Lopez, Charles D. King, and Poppy Hanks for Macro Film Studios. The executive producers are Maxwell, John D. Hammond, Long, and Tate. We were recently first to report on the film's lead castings.
