What's all that racket?
Ahead of the Miami Open tennis tournament, Venus Williams was seen hopping behind a DJ booth to "keep the partying going" at the fifth annual Citi Taste of Tennis event at SLS Brickell in Miami on Monday night, an insider told Page Six.
"Venus got up in the DJ booth and joined the DJ playing Cardi B's 'I Like It' and a Travis Scott song," the source said. "She danced along in the booth and took pics."
Top local chefs and tennis pros — including John Isner, Alexander and Mischa Zverev, and Feliciano Lopez — came together for a "fun evening of food, drinks and music," we're told.
We hear special libations were served, including Oban scotch malt whiskey, Zonin prosecco and Rock Angel rosé wine, and each of the chefs prepared their own special dish for guests to sample.
Upland's Justin Smillie served up grilled chicken on housemade focaccia with spicy pickles, Makoto Okuwa of Makoto provided an assortment of nigiri hand rolls and Alter's Brad Kilgore prepared kaido arancini with crispy rice and caramelized coconut sauce.
Meanwhile, A-listers from all circles were seen flocking to the 305 this week, including Cuba Gooding Jr., who was spotted celebrating the tournament's official women's draw ceremony at hot spot Seaspice on Sunday.
We hear the 51-year-old actor was enjoying food and drinks by the water with TV producer Jerry Bruckheimer, who was in town filming "Bad Boys for Life."
Johnathan "Foodgod" Cheban also made an appearance at the bash, sailing in on a yacht with former Miss Russia and FIFA Ambassador Victoria Lopyreva.
Cheben and Lopyreva were seen "having a feast with a carnival seafood platter, salted crusted fish and free-flowing champagne," the insider said.
