This year, Empire's Taraji P. Henson will be the lone host of the holiday special she and co-star Terrence Howard emceed in 2015.
Taraji's White Hot Holidays will air Thursday, Dec. 8 at 8/7c, the network announced Monday.
The one-hour event also will include holiday performances from cast members and guest stars Jussie Smollett, Taye Diggs, Pharrell Williams, Missy Elliott, Alicia Keys, Snoop Dogg, TLC and Run-DMC's Darryl McDaniels. Tyler Perry (The Haves and the Have Nots) and Terry Crews (Brooklyn Nine-Nine), as well as other "surprise guests and performances," will be included, as well.
