MacGyver has recruited his final team member in advance of his return to television this fall.
Tristin Mays (The Vampire Diaries) has joined the CBS reboot as a series regular, TVLine has learned. Mays will play Riley Davis, a "highly unpredictable" computer hacker who isn't exactly thrilled to be working alongside MacGyver and his team — but it sure beats rotting in prison, right? (Note: This completes casting for the retooled reboot.)
Riley will make her first appearance in MacGyver's series premiere, airing Friday, Sept. 23 at 8/7c. In addition to TVD, Mays' small-screen credits include roles on Supergirl, The Newsroom and Everybody Hates Chris.
MacGyver also stars Lucas Till, George Eads, Justin Hires and Sandrine Holt.
