The cast of "The Cosby Show" hasn't had the easiest year, with the show's patriarch, Bill Cosby, finally answering for his alleged crimes against women with charges being brought up against the star on Dec. 30, 2015. However, it's nice to hear some good news from the rest of the cast, who shouldn't always have to be associated with Cosby's legal scandals.
Keshia Knight Pulliam, who played Rudy on the show, shared news of her engagement to former NFL player Ed Hartwell in an Instagram post on New Year's Eve.
Pulliam captioned her photo "Happy to spend not only my new year but my life with this guy!!! #BlessedBeyondMeasure," as the couple goes into 2016 planning to get married — but no news about the wedding yet.
Actually, both Pulliam and her fiance have been on television before. He starred in the first two seasons of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta" as the husband of Lisa Wu. Wu and Hartwell divorced in 2012, now it seems like he's ready to move on with Pulliam.
Best of luck to the newly engaged couple — they're getting the year off to a good start.
