The Great
Like Only One, which West and McCartney released in December, it's a strangely sparse track that doesn't sound much like anything any of the artists has previously produced, except perhaps for McCartney's earliest solo songs, when he was consciously trying to break with his Beatles' catalog. Rihanna fans may be surprised to hear the Diamonds singer sounding occasionally shrill and slightly out-of-control as she talks trash to West, but it's a daring vocal performance that goes against the grain of her previous work.
FourFiveSeconds will appear on upcoming albums by both Rihanna and West, and, if it's any indication of their musical direction, they're really shaking things up.
