Beyoncé and Jay Z can't help but cause a little scene every time they make the scene.

The On the Run couple attended the premiere of Jake Gyllenhaal's latest film, Nightcrawler, last night at AMC Lincoln Square.

Bey and Jay arrived at the theater together and took an elevator straight up to the floor where the screening was, but not before posing for photos on the red carpet with the man of the hour. Gyllenhaal has been getting major buzz for his role as a fairly creepy individual who starts selling footage of accidents and crime scenes to media outlets (might selling his soul be next, hmm?). Nightcrawler opens on Halloween.

Lest we forget, Gyllenhaal was among the many celebs who made a cameo in Beyoncé and Jay Z's mock Run trailer ahead of their mega-successful tour.

Blue Ivy's parents were the picture of cool-casual at the premiere, Beyoncé in denim-on-denim, her wavy hair long and loose under a black hat (and no sign of those little school-girl bangs she'd been rocking) and Jay Z in jeans, black T-shirt and a royal-blue blazer with leather lapels.

The couple kept close to one another and waited to enter the theater until the lights had dimmed.

At the premiere they chatted with Jake, his sister Maggie Gyllenhaal and their mother Naomi Foner, but opted to skip the afterparty.

Earlier in the day, British fashion retailer Topshop announced a new activewear collaboration with Beyoncé, set to debut in fall 2015.

"We have been looking at this category as fashion inspired fitness develops, and know that this is right in our customers' heartland," Sir Philip Green, CEO of Topshop parent company Arcadia Group, said in a statement. "Creating a partnership with Beyoncé, one of the most hard-working and talented people in the world, who spends many hours of her life dancing, rehearsing and training is a unique opportunity to develop this category."
