Did Mystic Falls just gain yet another villain? It sure sounds like it.

Deadline reports Gabrielle Walsh has been cast on "The Vampire Diaries" for Season 6.

According to the site, Walsh ("Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones") will play Sarah, "who comes to Mystic Falls with spunk, street smarts and a shady agenda."

Sarah will first show up in the Season 6 premiere, and the role is "possibly recurring." If that doesn't scream "villain" than we're not sure what does. Or maybe she's actually going to be a victim?

Let's just put it this way: No one new to the scene who has a "shady agenda" has ever fared well on this CW supernatural drama, so good luck to you, Sarah (and Walsh).

"The Vampire Diaries" Season 6 premieres Thursday, Oct. 2 at 8 p.m. ET/PT on The CW.
