Stacey Dash may be the next face of the Republican Party.
The “Clueless” actress, 47, says Republicans do support same-sex marriage despite what many think.
“We are for equal marriage,” Dash told TMZ. “We’re not against that. We’re not against that at all. We believe everyone should have the same rights.”
When asked why the Tea Party sends mixed messages about the topic she replied, “That’s just propaganda, that’s not true. That’s just a certain amount of people. You can’t just throw a blanket over everyone because certain people have one opinion.”
Late last month, Dash was named Fox News’ newest contributor. She also publicly supported Mitt Romney’s 2012 presidential campaign.
Dash was recently linked to 25-year-old aspiring model and actor Michael Evers.
