At only 2½-years-old, Cree Taylor is a little man of many talents.

While attending Nickelodeon’s Kids’ Choice Awards on Saturday, mom Tia Mowry-Hardrict told PEOPLE her son can talk circles around the actress — in Spanish!

“He’s asking for milk in Spanish, kisses and he knows full blown sentences in Spanish,” Mowry-Hardrict, 35, says. “I don’t know what the hell he’s saying, but he knows more Spanish than I do!”

Cree’s favorite word, however, doesn’t need any translating. “I’m like ‘Honey, come on, we’re gonna have to learn how to say yes!’” she jokes. “I’m like, ‘Cree, what’s your name?’ ‘No.’ ‘Cree, how old are you?’ ‘No.’ ‘Cree, can I have a kiss?’ ‘No.’ Everything is no.”

But his savvy language skills aren’t Cree’s only area of expertise. Although the Instant Mom star says her son is “a really good kid,” she admits he “has his moments” — especially at bedtime.

“He’s negotiating with me. He’s not even three yet! Before he goes to bed, he likes to watch Little Einstein. I’m like,’We can’t watch too much of it because you have to go to bed.’ And he’s like, ‘Mommy, see Little Einstein. Five more minutes,’” she shares.

“[Saying no is] a problem. Then we end up watching it for 20, 30 minutes. He’s already negotiating with me — oh my God!”
