Breaking Bad, The Final Season - Breaking Bad

Rihanna, Glamour Magazine

Now this is a whole new side of Rihanna we've never seen before!

In the latest issue of Glamour magazine, the November cover girl shows off an unexpectedly curly crop of very short hair that's eye-catching, to say the least.

Upon closer inspection, we can't help but admire her dramatic eye makeup, which could be best described as positively bewitching thanks to the bronze and gold metallic shadow, full lashes and severe black liner playing up her gorgeous green eyes.

A soft lavender lip color keeps the focus on her intense gaze, and edgy gold statement jewelry adds a hip hop quality to the overall image.

RiRi, you've done it again—you've totally captivated our attention!

Inside the issue, the star opens up about how far she's come, and sheds light on where she is emotionally and mentally as an individual and an artist.

"I know I am [misunderstood.] That's why it's important for me to know who I am. There's no way for people to know me. All they have are a couple of pictures and some crazy headlines to go off of," she says. "You can't change who you are. It's important for me to know who I am and work with that. They're gonna keep knocking away until all this comes crashing down. But I'm not gonna ever crash. I'm in control."

One thing that seems like it's far from crashing is her music career. The singer, who has famously posted provocative pics of herself on Instagram in recent months, just edged out Katy Perry for most No. 1 pop songs, and it's only up from there.

"Music helps me tell my story. That's where I can really be heard. But there's so much focus on the things that aren't music," she tells the magazine, admitting that the road hasn't always been easy.

"I had to regain my fearlessness because it did go away for a little bit. My mother said something to me a few years ago: 'I've seen something in your eyes I've never seen before: fear.' She was like, 'No, this is not you.' I just got back to being okay with myself."

RiRi, you seem stronger than ever to us.
