Description:
The position requires an ability to develop, and execute test plans in an agile environment that ensure deliverables are of high quality. Working from our remote development site in Wilmington DE, the Back Office QA Analyst will collaborate with our Seattle Dev team in order to test new and modified programs ensuring features function according to requirements and established guidelines. This individual will actively participate as part of a sprint team member to assist in the maturation user stories and requirements. In addition, they wil create test data and helps manage the test environment to ensure proper system configuration and accurate test results. Other responsibilities include writing and executing integration tests, logging defects, and reporting status.
The position requires an ability to develop, and execute test plans in an agile environment that ensure deliverables are of high quality. •Develop and execute test plans and test cases for client server applications, and system upgrades.
•Work with team to create or add automation for data generation.
•Develop test strategy and create and execute test cases for internal integration applications that have no user interface.
•Develop test strategy and create and execute test cases for applications that integrate with external vendor systems.
•Executing black box and grey box tests for applications that support the brokerage system.
•Interacting closely with development teams to identify, isolate, and fix software defects.
•Help manage test environment and test data ensuring support of test efforts and schedules
•Communicating test status to project teams and management, which includes blocking issues, risks and changes that may affect the project deliverables and project schedules.
•Support production deployment by ensuring proper handoff of deliverables to implementation teams and by executing post production tests
•Work with team to create or add automation for data generation.

Experience & Qualifications:
• 5+ years of software testing experience.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Demonstrate proficiency in writing SQL queries
• Demonstrated proficiency in executing webservice test and associated tools
• Experience gray box testing store procedures (ability to read SQL code).
• Ability to develop test requirements for integrated, transactional software systems.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Team player with a passion for quality a must.
• Experience working within the financial industry preferred.
