Beyoncé is literally getting down to work.

The "Countdown" chanteuse is currently gearing up for her eagerly awaited Mrs. Carter Show World Tour, and—in a new snap uploaded to her Tumblr page—Jay-Z's missus slips into full-on prep mode.

In the candid black-and-white shot, the 31-year-old can be seen kneeling on stage and holding a microphone as she confers with someone off-camera.

Behind her, an assemblage of performers and crew members mosey about, including what appears to be a small gaggle of backup dancers.

Buzz for Beyoncé's tour—her first all-out global jaunt since welcoming daughter Blue Ivy back in January 2012—has slowly begun to build.

Two weeks ago, an extended teaser hit the Web, showing the singer royally dolled up as a wicked mashup between Marie Antoinette and Queen Elizabeth I.

And on Tuesday, the Grammy winner released a promo pic of her as a blond-bombshell pinup girl to hype the massive 42-city tour, which kicks off on April 15 in Belgrade, Serbia.

Blond ambition, indeed.
