GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Responsible for data analysis and management reporting. Creates/designs and runs database reports using PC platforms or report writing tools
based on end-user needs. Incorporates end user requests and requirements to develop an enterprise reporting solution. Identifies appropriate
metrics on which to report and utilizes software to generate metrics and develop actionable recommendations. Provides support to research team
or management by collecting, analyzing data and reporting results. Collaborates with various function teams such as marketing, research, IT to
achieve business results.

Must have expertise in SQL programming and have in-depth proficiency in data extraction and reporting techniques. May train end-users on
report writing.
WORK EXPERIENCE GUIDELINES
- 7 or more years of IT work experience in DBMS support and/or analysis, software application development, or report writing using
appropriate tools and platforms (e.g., SQL, Crystal Reports, etc.).
- 3 or more years of work experience designing and creating highly complex database reports.
- Requires in-depth knowledge and proficiency in data extraction and reporting techniques and in the use of database and report-writing tools
and platforms.
EDUCATION GUIDELINES
- Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline. Or equivalent work experience.
BREADTH
Expert/lead technical role. Designs, develops and supports database reports of high complexity within a broad technical and/or business context
of significant or strategic impact. Works on varied, highly complex projects that require expertise in multiple technical environments and specific
business area(s). Recognized as an expert internally and often provides strategic direction, guidance and integration of products and services.
Works on one or more projects concurrently as a project team member or often as a project lead. May coach and/or mentor more junior technical
staff.
