Description:
Client is undergoing a conversion from Oracle 10g to 11g. Require additional assistance from both a technical and functional perspective from a consultant with prior employment at Oracle. Senior level skills required to assist with conversion and provide knowledge transfer to the staff. 1-2 people required depending on their strengths/knowledge/experience.
Specifically -
OEM and ORAT assistance. At a later date a OCM or RMAN person may be needed.
1. Oracle Enterprise Manager 11g Grid Control
o Based on client's architecture documents build OMS and Management Repository
o Configure OEM, setup users and security
2. Oracle Real Application Testing
o 01) Capture Workload on 10g
o 02) Capture SQL using STS and loading from various sources
o 03) Analyze Capture Reports
o 04) Analyze SQL_TUNE Reports
o 05) Replay Workload on 11g
o 06) Analyze STS
o 07) Analyze Replay and SLQPA Reports
o 08) Make sure all APIs are executed with proper parameter settings
o 09) Need work plan to document all of this from beginning to end
o 10) Analyze and compare performance between 10g and 11g databases

Writing Scripts
