Position is responsible for developing, communicating, maintaining, and enforcing the overall architecture of the PeopleSoft FSCM and HCM environments, including business processes, applications, data, and technical infrastructure. S/he will be expected to understand all solution components and how they inter-operate to support business processes and management information needs. S/he will be responsible for interface and integration strategies with external systems and processes, including determining, understanding, and maintaining business requirements for those interactions. S/he will be responsible for ensuring compliance with external requirements. Candidate is also expected to be able to communicate solution at all levels of customer and AAP management.

This position requires an individual with Senior PeopleSoft Engineer/Architect skills, application knowledge, and business experience to lead the delivery of quality applications in the expanding HCM and FSCM environments, with the ability and desire to lead technical solutions, take on new environments and collaborate closely with the senior PeopleSoft consultants/team members to enhance the PeopleSoft capabilities at Advance Auto.
S/he will be expected to demonstrate strong planning and strategizing skills, partner with Enterprise Architects, lead high-visibility efforts and mentor junior team members.
S/he will be expected to demonstrate a strong initiative to learn, collaborate, be proactive in acquiring knowledge and skills, take on new assignments and constantly improve the application environments.
S/he will be expected to take on project assignments by understanding requirements, producing solutions independently or leading group efforts, demonstrating accurate translations of requirements and reviewing results with peers and seniors.
S/he will be expected to partner with Programmers, Project Managers and Business Analysts to understand changing business demands, formulate solutions and create an atmosphere of collaboration and teamwork.
S/he will be expected to present concepts and best practices to IT and business team.
S/he will be expected to demonstrate a strong initiative to learn, collaborate, be proactive in acquiring knowledge and skills, take on new assignments and constantly improve the application environments.
S/he will be expected to take on project assignments by understanding requirements, producing solutions independently or leading group efforts, demonstrating accurate translations of requirements and reviewing results with peers and seniors.

S/he will have demonstrated PeopleSoft ERP functional / technical implementation/architecture expertise in a large, complex environment (v9.1 of HCM and FSCM).
S/he will maintain a holistic view of product implementation process, ensuring that solutions are sound, appropriate and cost-justified, the components integrate properly, and all domains of change within the scope of the solution are addressed.
S/he will have demonstrated expertise of PeopleSoft development tools, integration methods and related technologies.
S/he will orchestrate the design and delivery of complex, comprehensive product-based business solutions at the enterprise level.
S/he will provide IT/Business leadership with strategic advice including product features, vendor recommendations and future direction of technology.
S/he will maintain current knowledge of emerging technologies that are new to company, clients, or the information technology industry as they relate to package-based application implementations.
