{blackbabes} Update: Live TV coverage planned for Whitney Houston funeral

E! cable channel has just announced that it is planning an E! News Special Report, Whitney Houston: The Funeral, beginning at 11:30 a.m. ET/ 8:30 a.m. PT on Saturday.

As part of the special, anchor Jason Kennedy will be joined by E!'s Chief News Correspondent Ken Baker and E! Online's Senior Editor Marc Malkin to report on the latest details surrounding Houston's death and her funeral.

The channel will air uninterrupted live coverage from inside the New Hope Baptist Church and offer up-to-the-minute details via the E! Online Twitter feed.

Whitney Houston: The Funeral will be simulcast on E! Online.

Update: BET News also plans a special, Live: The Homegoing of Whitney Houston, at 11:30 a.m.ET/8:30 a.m. PT., with coverage from inside the New Hope Baptist Church on BET.

Later that evening at 7:00 p.m. ET/PT, BET News correspondent Bevy Smith sits down with confidants and colleagues of the Queen of Pop including Kim Burrell, Kelley Price, Faith Evans, Ledisi, India.Arie, Tisha Martin Campbell and Tichina Arnold to share tender memories of Houston in BET Remembers Whitney.

CNN will also broadcast the funeral, live, anchored by Piers Morgan, Soledad O'Brien, and Don Lemon on Whitney Houston: Life, Death, Music starting at 11:00 a.m. ET. It will also livestream the event at its website.
