Position: Maximo Systems Administrator
Location:Downtown Houston,TX
Duration: 6 Months
Mandatory Skills/Experience:
Broad knowledge of Maximo (versions 6.x thru 7.5) configuration, data structure as well as focus on customer service are essential to this position.
Job Description:
Supports the maintenance, migration, and implementation on a corporate wide Maximo 6.x and 7.x system of 2000+ users. Position supports plant and corporate users, works on a team of System Administrators, works to promptly resolve user and system issues and performs administrative duties.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Answer Level 2 support phone, emails and tickets
• Strong skills in customer focused interaction
• Working with users to resolve production support issues on the Maximo MXES system and/or working with other Maximo system admins to resolution of customer issues
• Providing initial point of contact for user questions related to Maximo
• Performing administrative duties like password resets, user add/change/deactivations
Additional Responsibilities:
• Providing technical development for enhancements and complex user issues, including data fixes, interface issues, workflow, and other system changes
• Involvement in Maximo 7.5 upgrade project, including BIRT reporting
• Responsible for creating necessary technical, user and system documentation
• Possible on-call or perform weekend implementations
