Halle Berry's ex Gabriel Aubry is at the center of a Los Angeles investigation after allegedly pushing his daughter's nanny against a door.

The child minder, hired by both Aubry and Berry, was reportedly holding the couple's three year old, Nahla, at the time of the incident, which took place last week.

According to a police report, obtained by TMZ.com, the unnamed nanny challenged Aubry over his decision to keep his daughter at home and not take her to school because of an illness. The model became upset and pushed her.

She has since filed a police report, claiming she was injured during the brief altercation. Police are taking the incident seriously, listing it as a battery.

Reports suggest the nanny has now quit.

A special hearing into the incident has been scheduled in a Los Angeles court on Tuesday and Berry is flying back from a film location to attend.
