Zoë Kravitz is set for a co-starring role opposite Nicole Kidman and Reese Witherspoon in Big Little Lies, HBO's limited series from David E. Kelley.

An adaptation of Liane Moriarty's 2014 darkly comic novel, Big Little Lies revolves around three mothers of kindergartners — Celeste (Kidman), Madeline (Witherspoon) and Jane — whose apparently perfect lives unravel to the point of murder. Kravitz will play Bonnie Carlson who is married to Madeline's ex-husband. Bonnie is a spiritual yoga instructor, a sensitive soul with a strong moral compass. Also cast in the project are Laura Dern as Renata Klein and Adam Scott is Ed Mackenzie, Madeline's husband. Shailene Woodley is finalizing a deal to play Jane.

The book was optioned by Kidman's Blossom Films and Witherspoon's Pacific Standard. The two actresses exec produce with Kelley, Pacific Standard's Bruna Papandrea and Blossom Films' Per Saar. Jean-Marc Vallée is set to direct multiple episodes.

Kravitz, co-star of the Divergent feature franchise, has been working non-stop. This year, the daughter of Lenny Kravitz and Lisa Bonet was seen in the Divergent sequel, Insurgent, Mad Max: Fury Road and Dope. She is attached Black Belle and will be seen in Viena And The Fantomes and Vincent-N-Roxxy. Kravitz, who has a band, Lolawolf, is repped by Paradigm and Untitled Entertainment.
