The former model took to twitter to express her thoughts on Wednesday's court proceedings.
"When it comes down to it, truth is simple," Johnson, 63, tweeted. "There is nothing that we give to others that does not come back to us in some shape of form."
The comedian was charged earlier today for allegedly drugging and sexually assaulting former Temple University employee Andrea Constand at his Elkins Park, Pennsylvania mansion in January 2004.
Cosby, 78, did not enter a plea, but has continuously denied all allegations. He later posted his $1 million bail and was ordered to surrender his passport.
Constand's case are the first criminal charges to be brought against Cosby after more than 50 women accused him of sexual assault.
Johnson is among the many accusers and even discussed the alleged incident in her memoir.
Earlier this month, Cosby added Johnson to the list of seven other women who he is suing for defamation. The news came via a tweeted statement from his lawyer, saying that the suit was brought against Johnson "for her false, malicious, opportunistic and defamatory accusations that Mr. Cosby drugged her."
The statement asked that the actress remove the chapter about Cosby from her memoir as well as publicly recanting her comments about Cosby.
Johnson later responded to the suit in a statement to PEOPLE.
"I am aware of the statements from Bill Cosby. In cases of rape and abuse, abusers will do whatever they can to intimidate and weaken their victims to force their victims to stop fighting," she said. "I ask for your support of all of the victims involved. Thank you."
