Scary Spice faced a mighty scary situation over the weekend.

A mystery illness sent Mel B to the hospital "screaming in agony" over stomach pains, reports News.com.au.

The former Spice Girl, whose real name is Melanie Brown, 39, was on her way to a press conference and rehearsal for the UK's "X Factor" when she was struck with pain recently.

Her chauffeur jumped into action, rushing the star to a London hospital, where she under underwent tests, reports The Huffington Post UK.

Mel skipped Saturday's show but returned to the judging panel Sunday, appearing to be on the mend.

"I really missed being here but thanks to all the doctors and nurses who took care of me and got me here tonight," she said.

When host Dermot O'Leary asked if she was feeling any better, the singer said, "Yes-ish."

Reports questioned the whereabouts of Mel's husband, Stephen Belafonte. He took to Twitter early Monday morning to dispel any rumors of marital trouble.

"Mel was very ill a bunch of doctors helped her get better if fans can't just relax B4 being negative they r not real fans," he wrote.
