Is there a “hair changes” memo going around in the inboxes of former Disney stars? Between Demi Lovato‘s multicolor mane change, Vanessa Hudgens’s blue-tipped strands, Debby Ryan’s red-to-blonde overhaul and Ashley Tisdale’s new crop, tons of House of Mouse alumnae have transformed their tresses. Now Raven-Symoné has topped them all, sporting a rainbow-streaked mane and half-shaved do, which she just debuted on Instagram.

The star is taking a break from acting to pursue higher education, and she wanted to start her next chapter with a completely different look. She captioned the above photo, “@a_nicholle hairstyle #rollinwiththehomie. My last Friday in la before I start my life as an #oncampus student! New hair for a new life! #hellyea.”

The exact hue? Like Lovato, she’s rocking combo of purple and gray highlights with a few colorful streaks added in. “@a_nicholle thanks for a bomb color and cut! A few tracks don’t hurt, ain’t to many tho! Loving my washy purp and grey! Here I come San Fran!”

As for the cut, the star decided to go for a asymmetrical chop on one side and what looks to be a buzz cut on the other. (Shades of Lovato again!) What do you think of her new look? Should she keep it or go back to a more standard shade?
