Description:
This position is from 7pm to 3am but it can be done remotely after training. The training will take place in Minnesota for 2 or 3 weeks.
Our client is Windsor, CT is looking for an Altiris Deployment Server Administrator.
The work hours are 7PM to 3AM. Please only submit your resume if you are willing and able to work this shift.
Main responsibility is to provide Altiris Deployment Server (DS) support.
Primarily will handle tickets from desktop staff who are using 300+ Altiris DS servers to perform Windows 7 migrations from XP.
Candidate should be experienced with administering (aka build/maintain/support) Altiris DS servers.
Must be familiar with Personality Capture, PXE booting, and know how to troubleshoot various failed DS jobs.
Must have strong experience administering Altiris DS servers to be considered.
VBScript/Batch scripting, and basic Transact SQL knowledge are all bonuses, but not a requirement.
Also prefer (but again, not necessarily require) someone who has large enterprise experience and all the things that come with that (diverse and segmented teams, strict change and incident control processes, large network architecture, etc.).
Will also test and develop Altiris configurations for Microsoft Med-V instances
