Description:
The BI/DW DBA has overall responsibility for the design, implementation and administration of the SQL Server databases, environment architecture and data management functions in support of the company's BI/DW projects and initiatives. Demonstrated expertise with the following is required:

 

·         SQL Server 2000, 2005, 2008, and 2012
·         SQL Server database administration and security
·         SQL Server backup and recovery – DB, SSRS, SSAS
·         TSQL programming
·         SQL Server Replication technologies
·         SQL Server database maintenance best practices
·         SSIS, SSAS, SSRS architecture, configuration, security, and administration
·         Various different deployment methods for SSIS, SSRS, an
·         d SSAS objects
·         Advanced troubleshooting for all SQL Server components
·         Advanced SQL Server database structures
·         Relational database design best practices
·         Virtualization methodologies and architecture
·         Enterprise storage methodologies (SAN, NAS, SMB)
·         Active Directory and DNS
Working experience with
·         Windows Server 3003, 2008 R2
·         SQL Server BI components best practices
·         ETL and Data Warehousing
·         Dimensional Modeling
·         Indexing
Nice to have experience with
·         SharePoint
·         SSAS in SharePoint Integrated Mode
·         SSRS in SharePoint Integrated Mode
·         SVN – Subversion (Source Code Repository)
·         XMLA, MDX, DAX
Required Development Tools
·         SQL Server Management Studio
·         Business Intelligence Development Studio (BIDS)
·         SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT)
