Who leaked that Olivia Pope was the President's mistress on Scandal? Viewers will find out almost immediately when the show returns.

"When we come back in this first episode, you do hear who spilled the beans and why. It's pretty extraordinary and you won't be able to guess," star Kerry Washington tells TVGuide.com in the video below. Adds Tony Goldwyn: "It's pretty darn surprising because we all read the scripts out loud together and we were shocked."

As the press hounded Olivia about her relationship with Fitz in the finale, fans were also surprised when Olivia was ushered into a limo where she came face-to-face with her dad — or as viewers know him, the head of CIA black ops division B613.

"We're getting a window into Olivia's past which is really exciting," Washington says.
