Even with her impending departure from Parks and Recreation, Rashida Jones is keeping busy.
Jones, 37, is developing The Revengers, an hourlong dramedy, with her older sister, Kidada Jones, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The project centers on two twentysomething estranged friends looking for love in New York who are reunited after learning that they've been dating the same guy. When their scheme to humiliate the cheater goes viral, they discover that the revenge business is a lucrative one and set up a business to continue helping others who have been wronged.
Rashida and her Celeste & Jesse Forever writing and producing partner Will McCormack will serve as executive producers, along with Daniel Dubiecki (Up in the Air), Lara Alameddine and Prep School Confidential author Kara Taylor, who will pen the script.
Kidada will produce — a first for the model/actress/fashion designer.
The Revengers is the second sale for Rashida and McCormack, who are also developing the comedy Stuck at Fox with Parks and Recreation writer Alexandra Rushfield.
She is set to exit Parks and Rec following the NBC comedy's first 13 episodes of the season, as will Rob Lowe. Season 6 premieres Thursday, Sept. 26.
