Position:QA Analyst
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Duration: 6 months, extensions likely
Rate:$42/hr on c2c or 1099 MAX
Description:
QA Analyst with experience in Rational Tools specifically Rational Functional Tester and Test Manager, Mainframe Testing, Clearquest and Billing and Payment Applications. Technical skills include JAVA and experience in developing automated test scripts
Complete Description:
The qualified candidate will have 3-4 years experience in Rational Tools . Technical skills include JAVA and experience in developing automated test scripts. Mainframe Testing Experience Required. Manual Testing Experience a must. Must be able to Read, Write and Execute SQL Queries. Canidate must have excellent Written Skills and be able to interpret Technical and System Documentation. Must be Highly skilled in all aspects of the Testing Lifecycle. Experience with the other Rational products would be helpful: ClearCase, ClearQuest.
Experience/Skills:
BS/BA equivalency or any combination of four years relevant work experience and completed years of relevant college coursework.. An additional 2-4 years progressively responsible experience demonstrating advanced knowledge of application systems, development and integration services, ability to apply problem analysis/resolution techniques and knowledge of systems design.
Canidate will be involved in assisting with the conversion from using ClearQuest to TFS. Canidate must have required years of TFS Application Knowledge requested.
Behavior Characteristics:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to create and follow procedures, posses the ability to work unsupervised. Must have attention to detail and a "can-do" attitude. Excellent at multi-tasking and working well under pressure
