Will an appearance by a very pregnant Beyoncé do the trick to quell the fierce rumors she's already given birth?

The singer stepped out Thursday wearing jeans, gold heels, a black blazer and a flowing scarf covering her ample tummy as she was photographed for the first time since the Internet reached a fever pitch with inferences that she'd secretly delivered.

The photos may finally silence chatter that the singer and husband Jay-Z (who was snapped himself in N.Y.C. on Wednesday) checked into a New York hospital where she gave birth to a baby girl named Tiana-May Carter over the holiday weekend.

The couple was also spotted out – but weren't caught on camera – feasting on oysters and friend chicken at Buttermilk Channel in Brooklyn on New Year's Eve.

Beyoncé, said an onlooker, "looked amazing. She wore sky-high heels. It was really impressive for an enormously pregnant woman. She looked like she was about to give birth."

And, indeed, it appears she still is.
