Duration - 9 months.
Location - Maynard, MA.

Job Description
Candidates should provide URL for each web site project they worked on showing their expertise in Client side development and also highlight their contributions
Responsibilities:
- Implement new features for and enhancements to Webcasting services and Video products
- Work with business teams to identify new requirements and define future Webcasting strategy
- Incorporate design changes to continuously improve user experience and introduce new product features
- Assist with integration of Video features across the Corporate Services product suite
- Work with vendors (CDNs) and internal tech teams to optimize delivery and service stability
- Assist with product support, including issue diagnosis, resolution of bugs, compatibility issues
- Optimize code for performance and ease of maintenance
- Serve as a subject matter expert of webcasting technology and trends
Skill set:
- 7+ years of web development experience focusing on Consumer facing web sites
- Strong cross-platform HTML/CSS knowledge required
- Strong cross-platform JavaScript and JS framework(s) development knowledge required (jQuery, jQueryUI, JSON, etc.)
- Flash AS2/3 knowledge required (Flash IDE, FlashDevelop, FlashBuilder, etc.)
- .NET, ASP.NET, C#, Visual Studio, VS Team System, VSS etc. knowledge required
- Familiarity with MS SQL Server, SQL Server Management Studio, writing SQL commands, stored procedures, functions
- Unit testing knowledge (NUnit, JSUnit, etc.)
- Ability to cut up/create/manipulate images using Photoshop CS5
- Experience with streaming technology (Windows Media, Flash, Akamai network, etc.)
- Experience working on consumer facing web sites
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously
- Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent
Additional Skill set (Good to have):
- Experience with any modern Javascript Application Frameworks (JavaScriptMVC, Knockout, Backbone, ActiveJS, Sproutcore, etc.) a big plus
- Experience with emerging HTML5 video specifications a major plus
- Experience with Open Video Player (OVP) a major plus
- UI/UX design/engineering experience
- Design Patterns, ASP.NET MVC, LINQ, etc.
- Silverlight experience
