Location:Plano,TX
Duration:1+year

 

Description:
Top skills:
Experience in Erwin and Informatica.
OLTP, ODS, Master Data Management experience.
Experience in EDW design in a normalized data structure.
Experience with ARTS or other retail data models.
Experience with Hibernate

 

Other req skills:
Extensive experience in EDW and star/snowflake design patterns with conformed dimension design.
OLTP, ODS, Master Data Management experience.
Experience in EDW design in a normalized data structure.
Experience with ARTS or other retail data models.
Working knowledge of BI tools like OBIEE.
Data access and service design experience.
Experience in Erwin and Informatica.
Must have educator grade verbal and written communication skills to share EDW vision with all levels of managment.
Must have execellent SQL skills on DBMS platforms (DB2, Oracle, SQLServer and Teradata).

 

Qualifications:
Education: B.S. /B.A. in computer science, engineering, information systems preferred, and/or equivalent formal training or work experience.
Core Competencies: Strong partnering, communication, and negotiation skills.
Perform Peer Reviews with Architect and ETL developers
Analyze and resolve problems.
Project Management skills.
Strong customer service/team orientation.

 

Experience:
10+ yrs normalized EDW design (logical and physical)
Relational and Dimensional Database Experience
Oracle and DB2 Strongly Preferred
Designing & trouble-shooting complex solutions
Broad understanding of emerging technologies within the data management space
Develops source to target mapping and transformation rules
Provides input on project schedules
Develops task level estimates
