To celebrate espnW's Top 25 Women In Sports list – IMPACT25 – Marvel Comics turned athletes like Ronda Rosey, Misty Copeland and Serena Williams into epic cartoons.
"These 25 [women] were remarkable for their influence on and off the field," Alison Overholt, editor-in-chief, espnW, said in a statement. "They have individually – and collectively – advanced the dialogue surrounding women in sports, and we're proud to celebrate their feats."
Despite her recent loss against Holly Holm, Rousey, 28, was recognized for her impressive fights inside the ring with an illustration of the mixed martial artist throwing a jab through glass – with her rock-hard abs on full display, of course.
In her drawing, Williams, 34, is pulling off a "Super Galactic Slam," a nod to her year filled with three Grand Slam titles.
Copeland – the first African American woman to be promoted to principal dancer at the American Ballet Theater – is pictured breaking through her pointe shoe ribbons.
"That's been my goal since I was 13," Copeland, 33, told PEOPLE in November of her promotion, before adding her advice to aspiring athletes.
"Work hard," she said. "Every day is a new opportunity to start fresh and be better."
