Donald Trump may hate Mexico, but the Miss USA 2015 high fashion swimsuit photo shoot practically bleeds red, white and blue … with a few gold sequins thrown in for good measure. It is a beauty pageant, after all.

When the 51 contestants arrived in Baton Rouge, La. at the end of June — just as the fallout from Trump's comments about Mexican immigrants was beginning to pick up steam — one of their first orders of business was to pose in Sun Kitten swimwear for photographer Fadil Berisha.

Ranging in age from 20 to 26, this year's contest has some interesting contenders, including:

Miss Alaska Kimberly Agron claims longevity runs her family. Her great-grandfather lived to 103 and her grandfather is 104. No age-related details regarding her grandmothers were provided.
Miss District of Columbia Lizzy Olsen works as the Majority Director of Operations for the Senate Committee of Environment and Public Works. Her bio includes the sentence, "When she isn't on the Senate floor, Lizzy may be found modeling."
Miss Idaho Claira Hollingsworth used to have a leash-trained pet raccoon that traveled with her to Wyoming for the national finals rodeo.
Miss Kansas Alexis Selena Railsback is a two-fer. In addition to being named after a "Dynasty" character and the singer Selena, she has a fraternal two who is 2 minutes older, but 6 inches shorter than Alexis.
Miss Kentucky Katie George "considers herself to be an avid eater. She looks forward to it every day!"
Miss South Dakota Lexy Schenk's hometown of Irene is so small (population 400) that is doesn't have any stoplights.
When Miss Washington Kenzi Novell had the chicken pox, she only got 5 of them.
