Taraji P. Henson is laid up in a hospital bed with a bad case of food poisoning ... TMZ has learned.
The queen of "Empire" posted a pic of her arm with an IV drip -- and our "Empire" sources tell us she's had trouble keeping anything down since getting off a plane yesterday from Europe.
Taraji was in Monaco earlier this week.
In her post she said, "I AM FINE!!!!!! Just need to SAT ALL THE WAY DOWN for a bit. #listentoyourbody"
