Mariah Carey has settled the lawsuit filed against her by a former nanny who claimed the diva and her then-hubby Nick Cannon treated her like a slave and forced her to work over 100 hours each week without overtime.
Simonette DaCosta claimed in a Manhattan federal-court lawsuit filed in January that Carey and Cannon forced her to rotate between working weekly shifts of 84 hours spread over seven 12-hour days or 120 hours via 24-hour shifts over five days.
She says she was paid $3,000 to $3,600 twice-monthly from October 2013 through late January 2014 before being canned for being "too affectionate" with their toddler twins.
The suit has been settled, court records show – but the amount and terms of the settlement were undisclosed.
Lawyers for DaCosta and Carey did not respond to messages seeking comment.
