{blackbabes} Janet Jackson announces 'Unbreakable' world tour dates, new album details

Janet Jackson teased her upcoming new music and world tour back on her 49th birthday in May -- and now the tour has an official title and dates.

On her website Monday (June 15), the singer announced "The Unbreakable World Tour" in support of her new album due out in the fall. The 36-date tour will kick things off Aug. 31 in Vancouver, with six dates in Canada before moving to the U.S. for a show in Grand Rapids, Mich. on Sept. 11.

Additional worldwide concerts will be announced at a later date. Tickets go on sale June 22 at janetjackson.com, though American Express has partnered with Jackson to offer early ticket sales to its card holders starting June 15.
