Between the Cannes Film Festival and Rihanna's new campaign video for Dior, we really want to book a trip to France right about now. The singer's debut ads for the label have landed (she joins Natalie Portman and Jennifer Lawrence as the latest celebrity face of the brand), and of course she totally RiRi'd it.
The print and film campaigns, shot by Steven Klein in Versailles, mark the fourth installment of the brand's "Secret Garden" video series and show the star in a fantasy-like sequence, wandering around the palace and running up the famous staircase, all while clad in gorgeous Dior clothes and accessories.
"Rihanna's mystery and intrigue combined with her razor-sharp looks and sensibility, are the essential, perfect elements to create the stage for Secret Garden," Klein said in the statement. Catch the teaser clip for the short film below.
Rihanna is the first black woman to serve as a face of the French label. She sparked rumors that she was collaborating with the brand after she stunned front row at its Paris Fashion show last year in a flirty pale pink Dior design. And her ads are definitely a bit more glam than some of the other star campaigns.
