Ready for another year-end list? Here goes.

Forbeshas tallied up all the money made by musicians in 2014 to find that ... drumroll, please ... Dr. Dre takes the top spot on its Highest-Paid Musicians of 2014 list.

Dre pulled in a cool $620 million. Before taxes. He definitely "beats" everyone else. Get it?

The big payday for him came from the sale of Beats, the company he co-founded, to Apple for $3 billion. You, or someone you know, is probably wearing some Beats headphones right now.

Dre's wealth gives him the widest margin between No. 1 and No. 2 on the list in Forbes' history.

Here are the rest of the Top 5:

2. Beyoncé: $115 million

3. The Eagles: $100 million

4. Bon Jovi: $82 million

5. Bruce Springsteen: $81 million

The list, notes Forbes, shows diversity when it comes to genre. Hip hop, pop and rock are represented in the top three spots, as you can see. But also among the list of 30 are DJ Calvin Harris and country's Toby Keith.
