Solange Knowles, who made headlines in May when she unleashed an attack on brother-in-law Jay Z in an elevator following the Met Gala, will wed her longtime boyfriend, Alan Ferguson, on Sunday, Nov. 16, reports Us Weekly.

The "Losing You" singer, 28, and the video director have kept their engagement quiet, but plan to exchange vows in New Orleans, where she lives with her 10-year-old son Julez.

On Friday, guests will unwind with a movie night together before Saturday's rehearsal dinner. On Sunday, the couple will make it official with a ceremony in front of family and friends.

This is the second marriage for Solange, who married Daniel Smith (Julez's father) in 2004 when she was just 17.
