Rihanna has a bone to pick with CBS. Last week the network pulled the singer's "Run This Town" track from the
"Thursday Night Football" intro due to news of NFL player
Ray Rice's domestic assault charges. Rihanna was previously, and publicly, involved in a domestic abuse scandal with ex-boyfriend Chris Brown back in 2009.
On Tuesday, the singer took to Twitter to share a few choice words with the network.
"CBS you pulled my song last week, now you wanna slide it back in this Thursday?"
tweets Rihanna. "No, F*** you! Y'all are sad for penalizing me for this."
Rihanna then sent out a follow-up tweet to push her point even further.
According to
The Hollywood Reporter, CBS has released a statement saying that it no longer plans to use "Run This Town" at all.
"Beginning this Thursday, we will be moving in a different direction with some elements of our 'Thursday Night Football open,'" reads the statement from the network's sports division. "We will be using our newly created 'Thursday Night Football' theme music to open our game broadcast."
