The king and queen of hip-hop and pop are once again channeling a more infamous duo in a clip that dropped Monday.

Beyoncé and Jay Z posted the first of a three-part short film called Bang Bang, inspired by the Bonnie and Clyde legend and directed by Dikayl Rimmasch, while scenes were bring filmed by the couple's On The Runtour.

The three-minute, black-and-white clip, which premiered on Nowness, introduces Beyoncé as a glamorous cabaret singer and her spouse as a cigar-puffing player. Ennio Morricone's distinctly lush, Western-flavored orchestral music swells behind them — neither sung nor rapped — as the two then speed through the California desert in a dusty '60s Pontiac GTO.

A concert film of the On the Run tour is set to air on HBO on Sept. 20 at 9 p.m. ET.
