They're all one big happy family now.

Newlyweds Ashlee Simpson spent some quality time with her hubby Evan Ross and his side of the family by celebrating the re-opening of Diana Ross daughter Chudney Ross' Santa Monica children's bookstore, Books and Cookies.

Joshua Faulkner, Callaway Faulker, Simpson's son Bronx Wentz, Tracee Ellis Ross, Ross Naess and Kimberly Ryanwere also present for the family-friendly affair. "Books and Cookies is a bookstore, but it's more," Diana told Us Weekly at the event. "Chudney has created a nurturing environment and a loving environment where learning takes place."

After reading a few stories at the store, newlywed Evan treated his new 5-year-old stepson to a stack of new books including Goodnight iPad. So cute!

"We've always done Goodnight Moon," Simpson said. "And there is a new book we just got called Goodnight iPadwhich is quite funny. He reads every night! And we brought two bags of books of his to donate today."

The couple recently married in a quiet, private ceremony at the Greenwich, Conn., home of Ross' mother, who was also the officiant of the wedding. Ashlee's famous sister, Jessica Simpson, was maid of honor and Bronx walked the blushing bride down the aisle.
