Things may not always end well when there's a billion dollars on an elevator, but put all of that on the stage and you have a show that could only be helmed by Beyoncé and husband Jay Z.
On their latest On The Run Tour stop, which touched down in Los Angeles for the weekend, the couple impressed a star-studded audience that included Natalie Portman, Nicole Richie and Lea Michele.
And Sunday's show ended on the ultimate high note: When Jay, 44, and Bey, 32, finished performing the final song of the night, "Forever Young," the co-headliners shared a kiss on the lips and held each other for a show-stopping moment.
Their finale featured a sweet peek into their lives as family footage rolled, including shots of 2½-year-old daughter Blue Ivy.
The couple then walked off arm-in-arm to the main stage.
"Last but not least, give it up for Mr. Carter," Beyoncé told the audience, closing out the show. Followed Jay Z, "No. Last but not least, give it up for Mrs. Carter." Their fond sentiments were followed by an arm-in-arm exit.
This warm display is just the latest way they've combatted the rumors of marital trouble that began even before their tour kicked off in June.
In fact, there was no shortage of emotion at Sunday's show, either. As she powered through her relationship ballad, "Resentment," Beyoncé's eyes began to water.
The couple performed a handful of songs together, including "Drunk in Love." At the end of their steamy duet, a grinning Jay Z held Beyoncé from behind.
