Around the same time Nas opened the Tribeca Film Festival with a performance, his ex, Kelis, launched her new album, “Food,” at an intimate gig in LA.

She played a show at the Standard Hollywood for guests including Adam Lambert and ’80s R&B crooner Jody Watley.

During one tune, Kelis yelled, “I know there are some singers in the house, do this with me!”

Kelis, who had a 2003 hit with “Milkshake,” has gone gastronomic again with songs including, “Breakfast,” “Cobbler” and “Jerk Ribs.”
