{blackbabes} Mariah Carey's delayed album will finally arrive May 6

Mariah Carey's highly anticipated and long-delayed album will finally be issued May 6, and fans will get an early taste with Wednesday's release of You're Mine (Eternal).

The single, which she co-wrote with Rodney Jerkins, coincides with the release of a remix by Trey Songz.

This is the third track, after #Beautiful and The Art of Letting Go, to precede the new album, originally scheduled for release last summer. #Beautiful, a global hit with Miguel, is nominated for outstanding duo, group or collaboration at the upcoming NAACP Image Awards.

Carey will be on hand for the video premiere of You're Mine (Eternal) on MTV Wednesday (7:50 p.m. ET/PT), and she'll appear on Friday's BET 106 & Park for the network premiere of the remix video. The pop superstar also will perform the new single on BET Honors airing Feb. 24.

Carey is history's top-selling female artist with a record 18 Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 singles and more than 200 million albums sold.
