{blackbabes} LoLo Jones Out of Quarantine, Continues to Fight Cold and Flu Symptoms Prior to Competing at Sochi

Lolo Jones is on the mend!

That's good news, of course, seeing how the U.S. bobsledder revealed on Sunday night that she had been kept away from her fellow teammates after she exhibited cold and flu-like symptoms.

"Just released... been in quarantine room in Olympic village," Jones tweeted. "Single room was nice just wish I had one of those stray dogs to keep me company."

U.S. bobsled spokeswoman Amanda Bird said the decision to keep Jones temporarily isolated was merely for cautionary reasons, NBC News reports.

Fortunately for Jones, the bobsled women's events at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi don't begin until Feb. 18, so she still has some time to fully recover from any lingering illness.

But despite being under the weather, the gal certainly seems to be in good spirits, having retweeted a playful post from U.S. ice dancer Alex Shibutani.

"@lolojones has been sick so this is as close as I'll let her get to me," Shibutani captioned a photo of himself with Jones pretending to pout in the background.

Jones is a former Olympic hurdler who, in October 2012, earned herself a place on the U.S. bobsled team.
