It's official. Lupita Nyong'o can do no fashion wrong. We'd say we hope we're not jinxing the SAG Award winner with such a bold statement, but we're convinced she's immune to any bad karma we could create.
First there was the red Ralph Lauren cape creation; next came the white hot Calvin Klein; after that was the green Gucci goddess gown, and now there's this nude Stella McCartney stunner. Apparently she's strutting her way through every major label on the planet, which means it may be time to start a betting pool on which lucky designer comes next. Zac Posen? Prabal Gurung? D&G, or maybe Givenchy??
What makes this latest look such perfection is that it nails the fashion hat-trick so few stars achieve:
1. A perfect fit. There is not a millimeter of fabric out of place on the slight star's body, and this skin-hugging style is not easy to wear.
2. A modern cut. The asymmetrical design is unique enough, but in this cut-out neckline it has a forward-thinking feel.
3. That color. Not anyone can wear nude, but against Lupita's deep skin, it is a total jaw-dropper.
We'd say the 12 Years a Slave star has no where to go but down, but we're pretty sure the best is yet to come.
