Job Responsibilities: 
As a Lead Software Engineer in Disclosure Solutions, you will collaborate with technical leaders, developers and managers to successfully design and develop desktop and web-based software.  Our dynamic environment offers opportunities to be involved in all phases of application development including utilizing different programming languages, building and testing code and working with leading edge technologies.     

 

Individual developers are responsible for the analysis, design, implementation, documenting, and testing of new products and features. The position requires an individual who is willing to play a technical role and has ability to manage other developers, multi-task and stay organized in a dynamic, high paced work environment.

 

Participate in all aspects of a web based product solution including development
Provide timely and accurate communication of status to team, project and technical leads
Knowledge of web development in .NET and other open source technologies a plus
Work on multiple projects and manage time effectively
Gather requirements, design, code, test and implement according to design specifications
Consult with project lead on identification of problems and suggest solutions for the resolution of coding issues
Seek out new technologies and ideas to add value to our products
Re-engineer current systems to allow for flexibility, stability, and scalability while preserving existing functionality
Manage other junior and senior developers
Qualifications:

 

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with a strong academic background
10 years of experience working in related technologies
5 plus years of experience with object-oriented design and in-depth working knowledge of .Net
Strong web programming skills
Strong data analysis, design and testing skills
Strong communication skills, both written and oral – This is a must
Understanding and some experience in Agile development
Ability to solve complex problems independently and gather expert advice as needed
Ability to work under the supervision of the team lead, to work independently, and as part of multiple teams on overlapping projects
Ability to focus on delivering results in a dynamic environment with aggressive deadlines and multiple priorities
Web service development experience a plus
Analyze, design and implement new features/functionality primarily using the following technologies: C#, .NET, ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, WPF, WCF, WWF, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery (or similar JavaScript framework libraries), XML/XSLT, REST based Web Services, JSON, and Design Patterns
