Beyonce debuted a super-short pixie hairstyle on her Instagram account late Wednesday night, posting three pictures that highlight different angles of her new 'do.

Perhaps the style is a reaction to an incident last month on her recently-concluded Ms. Carter World Tour, in which her long locks got caught in a fan onstage.
